Arbitrage betting FAQ

Questions people ask before joining.

Is this gambling?
Arbitrage uses sportsbooks and regulated exchanges, so yes, it is wagering and you should treat it that way. The difference is that you are not predicting anything. You back both outcomes at prices that add up to less than 100%, so the position pays out either way. The risks are practical rather than predictive: a line moves before your second leg is placed, a book voids a bet, a promo term you missed. The playbook and the room exist to teach you how to avoid exactly those. Only play with money you can afford to lose.
Is arbitrage legal?
Placing bets on regulated venues is legal wherever those venues are legal. Kalshi is regulated by the CFTC and available across most of the US, sportsbooks are regulated country by country and, in the US, state by state, and Polymarket's US product is available where it is licensed. Sportsbooks can limit accounts that arb aggressively, which is a business decision on their side, not a legal issue on yours. The playbook covers how to pace and manage that.
How much money do I need to start?
There is no set requirement. Arbs typically lock 1% to 5% per position, so with a few hundred dollars you will learn the whole loop and see real, if small, locked profit. More capital scales the same math. Start small until placing both legs feels routine.
What if the price moves before I place the second leg?
It happens, and it is the main risk in this game. The scanner shows liquidity and how long ago each arb was found so you can skip stale ones, the playbook teaches which leg to place first, and the calculator recalculates the split instantly if a price changes. If you do get caught on one side, the room will show you how to hedge out at the smallest possible cost.
Do I need any experience?
No. If you have never opened Kalshi or placed a bet, the onboarding channel and the setup guides take you from zero to your first locked profit. If you have experience, you will move faster.
Does it work outside the US?
Yes. The scanner covers sportsbooks in the US, the UK and Australia, crypto books and more, alongside Kalshi and Polymarket, so wherever you are there are venues to hedge across. A few venues are region-locked (Kalshi and the US books are US-only), and you get a region-specific setup track for the ones available to you. The scanner, the calculator, the playbook and the room are the same everywhere.
What does the free trial get me?
